I am currently at the crossroads career-wise. I made the decision to go back to school in 2005 after working for about seven years in the non-profit arts, culture and heritage sector. It was a difficult decision at the time but I felt that it was necessary for me to get an advanced degree, particularly since I wanted to gain further knowledge in cultural heritage management. I find that I am a little undecided about which direction to turn to. Do I look for any job in the general vicinity of my chosen career path? Or do I narrorw it down to the field of arts, culture and heritage management only? Whic organisations should I be applying to? And so on and so forth.
It is a tough choice to make, particularly now that I am enrolled in a course in environmental policy. It puts a whole new perspective on cultural heritage management.
